April 12 |

| A few extra holes to finish what the first blasting missed. This machine made it look easy. | |

| BC Hydro came today and conncted our power line up the driveway. Next week when the big digger comes back, Mike won't have to dodge the power line! | |

April 18 |

| Final blasting done and they're back to remove the blasting matts . We have the driveway back! This is great but be carefull backing down in the dark, there's a mighty big hole to fall into. | |

| The new footings. Oliver drilled into the bedrock and anchored them with rebar. Howard now needs a new Makita hammer drill like theirs. | |

The excavation is complete! We're now out of destruction and into construction - we actually have swadust on site. Hopefully I won't have to unhook the sewer line again for a bit. |
